Our history:

Team Mazda El Cajon is part of the Kiefer Automotive Group, headquartered in Eugene, Oregon. Kiefer Automotive is a family owned business, consisting of 16 franchised dealerships throughout California, Idaho and Oregon. Company President, John Kiefer II, has been in the automotive industry since 1983, and comes from a family with a long history in the industry. John's father was one of the first Mazda dealers in the United States, and his great-grandfather owned a Chevrolet Dealership for over 60 years. 

John gained 8 years of factory experience while working as a representative of Mazda Motors of America. Shortly after, he opened his first Mazda dealership in 1994. John and his wife Corinne are very involved in the daily operations of each dealership. They are committed to the success of each store and every one of their 1,000 team members.
